Synopsis:
One of the most popular and critically acclaimed series in the history of the American cinema, Francis Ford Coppola's Godfather trilogy arrives on DVD in a box set that truly presents these films with the care and respect they deserve. All three films have been given 1.85:1 letterboxed transfers, which are enhanced for playback on widescreen monitors; the audio has been remixed for Dolby Digital 5.1, with alternate French-language tracks in Dolby Digital mono. Francis Ford Coppola recorded commentary tracks for all three films, and the set also includes an in-depth documentary on the making of the Godfather films. Other bonus materials include a number of deleted scenes, biographical profiles of the cast and the filmmakers, featurettes on the film's music and photography, a look at the production storyboards, and much more. The Godfather DVD Collection offers a near-definitive look at three of the most influential and acclaimed motion pictures of their time.

The Godfather 1972 Synopsis:
The Godfather "Don" Vito Corleone is the head of the Corleone mafia family in New York. He is at the event of his daughter's wedding. Micheal, Vito's youngest son and a decorated WW II Marine is also present at the wedding. Micheal seems to be uninterested in being a part of the family business. Vito is a powerful man, and is kind to all those who give him respect but is ruthless against those who do not. But when a powerful and treacherous rival wants to sell drugs and needs the Don's influence for the same, Vito refuses to do it. What follows is a clash between Vito's fading old values and the new ways which may cause Micheal to do the thing he was most reluctant in doing and wage a mob war against all the other mafia families which could tear the Corleone family apart.

The Godfather Part II 1974 Synopsis:
The life of Vito Corleone is shown as he becomes from a boy born in Sicily to one of the most respected mafia dons of New York while Micheal attempts to expand his business empire into Las Vegas, Florida and pre-revolution Cuba while facing his own personal problems trying to keep his collapsing marriage and relationship with his brother intact.

The Godfather Part III 1990 Synopsis:
In the final instalment of the Godfather Trilogy, an aging Don Michael Corleone seeks to legitimize his crime family's interests and remove himself from the violent underworld but is kept back by the ambitions of the young. While he attempts to link the Corleone's finances with the Vatican, Michael must deal with the machinations of a hungrier gangster seeking to upset the existing Mafioso order and a young protoge's love affair with his daughter.
